Germany

In no special order these are some of my favorite photos of Augsburg Germany. Flower for Christmas. A copy of what happens when the cat leaves a chipmunk under someones bed and forgets it. The gate we call eric's gate because he walked under it when He went to work several years ago.

And of course one of the special days when the sun shines in Germany. Enjoy

Bridger Outpost Wyoming

Lots of old west building and historical sites for the State of Wyoming and a good deal of information about the Morman trek to Utah was here.

These are pictures of the settlement at the crossroads of settling the west. It was manned by a group of men who fought and lived to conquor the west.

The picture of the grave of a much beloved and hero dog is interesting. If you every get a chance to go there, you step back in time and almost feel the Indians waiting to ambush the old wagon train.

Graveyard Stone

You hear about the picture of the Virgin Mary on cheese sandwiches and windows and tree knots, but the day I saw this it floored me. We had been checking out geneology for the family and this cementary was one of the last we checked.

I was sitting in the truck and looked up, I looked again and their it was on the back of the stone. A picture of a girl in what looked like a headress in blue marble veins. At the back of her is a picture of an older man and in the middle a baby sort of.

My grandchildren call it a gnome. Whatever it sure is startling when you first see it. some people can not make it out and then at an angle it hits them like it did me.

Just another Georgia weird place. See if you can make out the young girls face and the old man behind her in the stone.

Geysers in Yellowstone National Park

These are a few of the geysers in Yellowstone that are lesser known than Old Faithful. It is a tremendous sight to see the colors and minerals deposits coming from deep within the earth.

Just be prepared for the smell of the sulfur and other things and enjoy the beauty of them. Animals walk around on the geyser floor and edges of some of the pools how they make it out alive is I guess pure animal know how.

Bleak Rain And Weird Day

I have a cup that says "Dear God When its raining are you crying." I think yesterday he was laughing. Nothing happened that could not be fixed and made me thankful for days when everything is beautiful. Like the day I took these pictures.

Yesterday was a day like no other. It rained and when I took Miss Rose for a ride in the rain to pick up my student she poop pooped in my new car. Where by when I sat down it was too late. She is definitely in the dog house for the rest of the day.

It is a shame to see a 11 pound poodle cower and then sneer at you when she thinks I am not looking.

Telephone calls all day some good ,some bad. It was just one of those days you want to cry or laugh, but figure it would not do any good to do either.

Think that was all. NoNo the commode decides to stop flushing, the sink in the other bath stops up. A cat outside in the rain, starts crying and the water starts moaning. You have to hear that to believe it.

After no sleep and I have to get up early today to take her home. Then today seems to be going better so thought I would check my list of pictures and show some of the highlights of the road to Bryce Canyon Utah.

Horses change to Camel

I recieved this pictures in a group from a friend of mine. It was so weird I had to share it with all of you.

My obsession with cowboys is a family joke and this is really one for the record. Hope you get a chuckle out of it.

Gone with the Wind

This is Barnsley Gardens in Adairsville Georiga. It has been renovated and is now quite a tourist attraction. During the War Between the States or the civil uprising of 1861 the family that lived here was typical of most Southern people, who lived on plantations. Of course my family was not of this class. Just came from a place called Ireland. Part of the family greeted the first settlers. Another story another time.

The plantation was saved by being warned that the Yankees were coming and the carrier of the warning was ambused and killed later. The owner of the Plantation buried him in the family plot in gratitude for his message.

When the book was written according to the guide at the museum she was impressed by the stories around the place.. An Indian curse, bad luck to all who lived or owned the place. I think they even got an Indian to remove the curse and now it seems that the place is doing well.

The house surived the uprising but was burned accidently in the early 1900's. The vault on one wall looks dismal and empty only of the spirits that surrond the old place. Barnsley Gardens is one day trip if you are ever up this way try to make it they have little houses shaped like the late 1800's, resturant, and golf courses and of course beautiful acres to walk and ride in .

Route 26-789 Wyoming

Believe it or not this is the intersection where I first saw cowboys on all terrian vechiles. Very disappointing, in Utah I had seen a herd of cows with real cowboys herding them. If you could maginify the black spots in one of the pictures its cows and the larger black spot is an atv with some guy on it.

This road is sort of in the middle of the state and just past this intersection was a beautiful river. the surrounding area was like looking at a desert. The colors of the cliffs soon gave way to snow! I was driving up into the Rockies on the lower side of Jackson HOle Wyoming and another part of the roll of film had where the forest had burned.

Did you ever wonder how come most of the trees in a forest are the same or similar heights? When the forest burns, the lodge pole pines pop their seeds and the whole forest comes alive. Sad to see the burnt part but the reforestion is a mircle in action by Mother Earth.

Lonesome Roads

These are roads around the state of Wyoming. Including the buffalo that is part of the original 600 in Yellowstone, that closed down traffic from the Old Faithful Geyser to the east entrance.

It turned out he was guarding the bridge so the rest of the herd could cross. I was first in line and some nut with a camera, huge lens comes running around my auto and I cringed because the buffalo looked like he was getting upset with her movements and about to take it out on me.

The high elevation and all the snow is only a small amount of this disc there are so many beautiful scenes I think it must have been one of my best shoots.

I will probably run a couple of straight days on this one. So enjoy and hope you look forward to the rest of the shoots .

more cats

These are some of the pets from the past.
Jr was named because he had sideburns and a black spot that looked like a bad topee.
He is sneaky and gives the baby Pysco lots of problems think thats why she is so scared all the time.

Pysco Kitty because she runs and hides and she used to sleep on the top of the chimmney cap to escape Jr and Ella.

Ellie is the head Momma of the three. As you can see they are well loved and shes rolling in Christmas money.

Cats

His favorite outside seat an overturned trashcan. His favorite bed. The convient place to sleep when nobody can find you. Computer chair is a good place for a nap if anybody wants to use the computer Ha .
These are some of the Jonesy sleeping and coming awake. Jonesy, of course, is popular in my stories of him and Miss Rose. He tried to give her a live baby squirrel one Saturday and she looked at him like he had lost his mind.

Of course He was only trying to tell Her, He liked her. She is a prissy little thing and dared him to put another animal or bird in her bed. A couple of weeks before he had killed a bird and laid it at her bed. Since then he has not given Me or Her anything else. Most of the time He just sleeps and sleeps and tries to use the computer.
