National Parks South Dakota

Tired of the Wyoming this is one of the Dakota adventures. The mules are a wild herd on the Wildlife preserve in South Dakota close to the Mt Rushmore Memorial. The couple driving me there said it was the first time they had seen the mules and had lived in the area for several years.

The other pictures are of the Mt Rushmore Monument and if you look thru the bridge cut in the stone cliff it is the first time that you see the memorial. Beautiful and wild as the country is it is so vast and beautiful you of course want to come back time after time.

The other picture is the Crazy Horse Monument being built is the same area. It will be larger than Mt Rushmore and is still in the construction stages.
